2018 Terrain - Service Part Operations Inventory Shortage?

I'm going to keep this simple because I'm beyond frustrated with GMC.
About a 1.5 months ago a deer hit my 2018 Terrain. Light damage...but ended up having to replace the front bumper and driver side headlamp.
Fast forward to today...the repair shop my car is at STILL HAS NOT RECEIVED the headlamp assembly. They said they've been calling GMC's Service Part Operations who have been telling the repair shop that my vehicle is next on the "list" to receive the part. They have been saying this for the past 2 weeks and counting! Ridiculous!!
My question is...has anybody else been experiencing these long delays to get their 2018 Terrain repaired?!
