Black Front and Rear Pony Emblems

I have a black Mustang convertible with chrome front and rear pony emblems.

Since the black car has a black roof, black wheels, and black interior--I decided to replace the front and rear chrome pony emblems with black emblems.

Does glossy or matte work better? The Ford website seems to show glossy black OEM emblems as part of the black appearance package. Also, reviews seems to indicate the the matte emblems don't look as good.
