96 Corvette or 2005 Gt Mustang?

Hello! I'm currently looking for my second car to replace my awesome first car which was a 2008 chevy aveo that did really well and got me where I wanted to go for a solid year and a half. But I'm looking for something with less miles (its at 145k now) and that is a little more fun and powerful.
Within 50 miles of my home I discovered two of the strongest canidates that I could find that match my wants in my next car. They both have lots of modification possibilities, miles under 50k, known to be reliable, both are within the same price range insurance wise and cost wise. I'm not a car genius all I did was crunch the numbers with all the other rwd performance cars I could find in my area and these turned out to be the most capable, reliable and somewhat on the cheaper side. I just don't know which would be the better option or if either are even a good idea.

Having said that, I'd take the Mustang of those two. You want to drive it daily, the Mustang offers far more utility, not to mention nearly 10 years younger.

But, as @qbrozen has pointed out, if an automatic is what you want, that 300C would be the car to drive. Pretty tried and true technology....nothing over the top that would be costly to fix. And, it’s got a hemi, so certainly modifiable.
