I have had Ram and Chevy trucks all my life. Loved them I don't like the styling of the Chevy now and am considering the F150 2.7 and Ram etorque 5.7 I drive a lot and tow occasionally a 5k lb travel trailer. I am concerned about the real world mpg you and others indicate you get with the 2.7. I have never heard on this test (or
other road tests) what rear end you are running. I always lean toward a 3.23 in my Rams and the fuel mileage is excellent/amazing.(doing the math) Also that one pic showed a 91 octane sticker on the fuel door. Is that what Ford recommends or is that what you were putting in for the test thanks

Hey Moparbas, just an FYI. I just recently purchased the 2019 Ram Classic Lone Star with the 3.91 rear. I drive about 70% highway and am getting ~18.5 mpg overall (1500 miles on the odometer). IMO I'd much rather have the HEMI V-8 over a turbo 6 and for a small sacrifice in fuel economy am rated to tow over 10k but to each their own.
