I've heard they may come out with some new colors. There will absolutely be no styling. When a company makes a new truck, it's usually at least 3 years before they give it a facelift, then 5-6 years before a major redesign.

The only thing they need is more color options (preferrably a flat red), and the backseat at a 15+% angle.

(Trucksrme will help me out with all the other things it needs, right?)

I think it would be hard to give the Tundra a 15 degree angle to the back seat - it would eliminate to much leg room, or make the rear seat so narrow you would need to sit side saddle with only one cheek on the seat.

Wonder what year them tundras goin be "full size" now? Good luck on this one now!

See Rear leg room is not what the problem is with the Tundra at least to me (It's not a plus either). I test drove F-150 and Tundra, and the F-150 seemed quite a bit bigger back there, but it really wasn't when I think about it. Then I go over to the Tundra and it seemed smaller only because it was by an inch or two in back, but mainly because it is so upright. I would rather have the seat at a slight angle and loose a couple of inches of legroom.

Needless to say I don't care too much because my wife has a CR-V and it fits 5 people fine, I have no friends ever since my baby was born, and the only person I have to haul in the back is my baby. So any truck would work for me.

IF I HAD to take 4 ADULTS with me everyday (How many people do???), then I would go for the Ford for sure.

I am not considering the Silverado or Ram. I don't like the styling of either, and reliability is a major issue with both.

HEY DEVIL1 WERE DID YOU GET THIS PICTURE OF A FOUR DOOR TUNDRA. I WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME MORE INFO ON THIS NEW TUNDRA, SO CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WERE YOU FOUND THE INFO THANKS.

...at that picture. As you can see, the rear side window is split in half and it curves up on the bottom before the split. Also, part of the door handle is still visible on the front part of the rear door. So whoever made that picture needs some more practice with that Adobe Photoshop (or whatever he/she used)

That is not a Tundra. Just like what was already mentioned....this is the new Quad Cab Tacoma due out next year.

    Nice try.

That owners of the Tundra have a hard time telling the difference between their truck and the compact Tacoma.

... it is a Tundra, but as I mentioned before, that picture is a fake. Look at it.
  • ford250ford250 Member Posts: 25
THAT PICTURE WAS A TUNDRA LIKE AT THE WHELLS & TELL LIGHTS THEY ARE FROM A TUNDRA.
  • trucksrmetrucksrme Member Posts: 381
Hard too tell them tacoma and tundras apart now, they be sharin so many parts, and be about the same size now. Good luck on this one now!

As noted, it's not the Tacoma Double Cab. Doesn't really look at all like it if you put them up side by side on the screen.

It's a fake, and not a very good one. Look at the vertical line in the rear window, just where the Access cab would end.

No offense intended here, but....if this is a Tundra, it kinda shows how small a Tundra is. I would swear that was a Tacoma, especially looking at the front end. They have the same swoop. I thought a Tundra had a bigger, wider front end.

It sure looks like a compact truck from the picture.
  • trucksrmetrucksrme Member Posts: 381
Them tundras are compact trucks now. They sure aint "full size", as any folk can tell by that picture. Good luck on this one now!
