Transmission not staying in park after engaging, periodic
Bought 2010 Santa Fe from original owner with 56,000 miles on it, just turned 60K.
Every once in awhile after stopping and putting in park the transmission will not hold.
Sometimes I can't make it happen.
I took it to a dealer and left it overnight, by 8:45 the next morning they told me I needed a new transmission.
Other than this issue the car runs fine. I'm having a tough time accepting I need a new transmission because of this one problem.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and their resolve.
