Our 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 diesel continues to run ahead of its EPA combined rating. In January, we even managed to obliterate its highway fuel economy rating with a tank returning 27.7 mpg.

    The crazy part of the mpg is that my 2015 RAM EcoDiesel that weighed 5,600 lbs averaged 22.4 mpg (Fuelly calculated) over 33,000 miles. Just over 21 mpg is good? No it isn't, even with the ZR2 package.
