The autotrac feature is the only way to go. I did not want the sissy push button autotrac when I ordered my truck. But I wanted the LT model and that is the only way it comes. Now I am glad I got it. It makes your 4x4 usable in normal on road driving situations.I would not run in 4 wheel high on wet roads, or if the road is part ice and part dry. It will mess up your truck. Autotrac is designed for these driving conditions. I can not do justice explaining how slick this feature works. It shifts into 4x4 mode so fast and smooth you would think you were running in 4 high. I would never buy a 4x4 without this feature. BTW as far as electronic problems - that is what they use to say about power windows and locks. How many trucks have manual windows today? Same thing - its called progress.
