2005 Yukon Denali - What is the engine life, based on mileage?

I am the proud owner of a 2005 Yukon Denali (with all the Bells and Whistles still working) that was in good condition and had a smooth ride, until recently. My son had an accident and the front quarter panel (drivers' side) and headlight were damaged. The insurance company deemed my Denali a total loss, of course due to age and mileage (300,008). The engine and transmission are factory and have never been replaced. The cost to repair the damage is about $3,000.00. Is there any data on engine life, based on mileage?

Yes, I have a second (first) car; Mercedes GL450......but I enjoy the smooth ride of my Denali.
