2019 Ram rear axle ratio recommendations
Hi all,
I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a 2019 Ram Laramie Crew, 4x4 short bed with the 5.7 Hemi
Looking at dealer websites most dealers have a bunch of trucks with the 3.21 rear axle ratio and some have the 3.92, although very few have the 3.92
I tow a boat and a snowmobile trailer and max weight on either would be around 3500 lbs. Would the 3.21 be sufficient ? I spoke with a sale rep at a dealer and he said they won't order a truck without the 3.92, although their inventory is meager at this time.
Curious what folks think ?
