ENGINE STALLED DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AFTER ONLY 10 MINUTES.

2002 GMC SONOMA 2.2L Truck stalled driving down the road after 10 minutes. Found radiator low or empty on water. Sounds like no compression when trying to start? Also when fill up radiator and try to start, water sprays out under drivers side, near the exhaust or manifold area? Any Idea what may have happened? blown gasket?
