Fuel efficient all-wheel Drive for Courier Service

I'm trying to find out which all wheel drive SUV or crossover will be the most fuel efficient for me. I will be driving 200 to 500 miles per day. 18000 Max purchase price. I'm looking for something that isn't going to need a lot of repairs outside of maintenance and could possibly last 400 to 500 thousand miles

    Fuel efficient, probably a Subaru SV Crosstrek. But asking those kind of miles is a mystery. Especially with a CVT. And you will have to go back a few years to get one in budget.

    other option is a Hybrid. RAV4 maybe, but not sure how old you need to go to get one of those at that budget. They do use those as cabs in NYC.
