Hybrid Battery losing charge

I have a 2010 Mercury Mariner Hybrid. Sometimes when I start it up the hybrid battery charge has gone all the way down to one bar. Sometimes this happens over night. Sometimes just after not driving it for a few hours. What does this mean?

    Would seem that you definitely have some kind of issue with the hybrid battery, maybe one or more bad cells. Only way to find out is to have the battery pack checked.
