Driver's side electric window "smears"

I have a 2018 Honda CRV. The driver's side window has streaks of white/grey grease all over it every time I put the window up and down which is daily. The local dealer says they have another that is doing the same thing so it must just be a problem with this model....seriously? Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this. They said they took the door panel off and checked it . Not sure I'm buying that story either. Thanks for any insight.
