2018 rogue - collision warning
Has anyone had issues with the Forward emergency braking warning light flashing on and off while driving? There has not been any cars or obstructions near me at the times it happens. My car is currently sitting at the dealership because it is not " throwing a code" and the service department, Nissan engineers have not been able to figure out what is wrong. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Here is another. https://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/faulty-radars-compromising-nissan-emergency-braking-system/
The systems in most of the cars are considered black box technology and technicians don't get any information beyond what the system can code for when it detects a problem. We have had to reverse engineer the diagnostics to get beyond the O.E. imposed limits. Possible causes for misalignment are vehicle thrust angle, which is why a true four wheel alignment is critical. The system "assumes" that the centerline of the car and the thrust angle are the same. Steering angle sensor calibration since the system uses that input to angle the sensor beam when you make a turn so that it doesn't scan the side of the road or the opposite lane. And of course follow proper retraining methods. By now they have probably thrown a radar sensor at this and tried recalibrating it and the front view camera. If they are still struggling to get it to act up maybe describing everything you noticed around you when it happened will help.
