My DIC disappears

I looked at all the fuses in the fuse compartment located inside the front passenger door jam. They all looked OK. This problem only seems to happen on bright sunny days. The DIC reappears at night. Anyone else have this problem?

1) Try manually turning the headlights off and on to see if it reappears on one or the other.

2) Check that the dash brightness adjustment is turned all the way up. Try #1 again.

3) If you have rain-sensing wipers, be sure they are OFF. Wipers on in Buicks means the headlights
are ON. With headlights on you may be getting a dimming of the dash lights.

4) Try covering the sunlight sensor, wherever it is...
