A single vehicle swerving to avoid a collision didn't cause the vehicle to tip.

Front and side impact tests resulted in 5 Star crash test ratings.
There was a note that "During the dynamic rollover test, the ESC system deactivated causing the Malfunction Indicator Lamp to be illuminated. The ESC automatically reset at the next ignition cycle. This situation has been addressed for all vehicles manufactured after June 15, 2006."
No SUV currently on sale has received better ratings than the CX-7.
In comparison, the RAV4 had a 17% chance of rollover in a single vehicle collison and only received a 4 Star front impact rating for the passenger.
The 2006 Santa Fe had a 21% chance of rollover in a crash, and actually tipped (both inside wheels left the ground) during crash avoidance maneuvers. It also only got 4 Star front crash ratings for the driver. (2007 not rated yet)
