Calling Los Angeles-based car shoppers: Have you recently traded in (or plan to trade in) a car with negative equity (i.e. the amount you owe on your auto loan is greater than the car's value)? A reporter would like to speak with you; please reach out to PR@Edmunds.com by 11/6 for details.

Does a LWB minivan or CUV exist in the US?

As quoted in a WS article, "It is the Goldilocks syndrome for car buyers...In their search for a car that fits just right..."

Sedans, in any format, are not an option. I used to own an older MBZ S-Class and it has plenty of legroom in the front and rear to satisfy my needs but sedans are too low.
I previously owned an Escalade for a brief period and a Range Rover Sport but neither had much legroom despite their overall size and are too tall even if legroom was sufficient.
Due to a disabled family member, I need a vehicle where the seat level is comparable to a minivan/crossover. I drive with the driver's seat all the down and in it's furthest rear position due to my height and knee problems which makes the rear seat behind the driver useless in 90% of vehicles. I have yet to find a vehicle that fits me "just right".
From solely a driver's position, the most comfortable car I have ever owned was a 2011 MBZ GLK350. A true soccer mom CUV but surprisingly it had a tremendous amount of legroom. The only problem was that the rear seats were useless for traveling with other adults. I checked out a Ford Flex and it was ok but didn't pass the test. I replaced the GLK with another Merc, an older R350, and at first I thought my search was finally over. With the front seats in their furthest back position, passengers in the 2nd row have enough legroom without cutting off circulation to their legs. It does not have as much legroom as the GLK but it is very close, falls short by ~1.5". The seat track is welded and I have yet to find an aftermarket one specifically for this model that will give me that additional 1"-2".

So as the title states, does a LWB minivan or small SUV/CUV exist in the states that will meet my criteria?

Sienna/Odyssey has poor legroom, nothing remotely like an S-Class.
