Hi there,

Could anyone help explain this sound: https://youtu.be/VuEH_0lKacY

There are some common situations that this occurs in:
1) Going down a steep hill or descent
2) Changing speeds or going too fast down a steep hill

This sound comes from the right hand side of the front of the car, and sounds like a "chugging" sound from a locomotive train. It becomes louder as you drive until you stop, put the car in park. After putting the car back into drive, it does not continue. This sound has become increasingly prevalent wherein it was just happening on a steep ski mountain and now is happening down local steep streets.

Any help with this would be awesome. Thank you!

Chris

Does the sound vary with speed? Does it change when you apply the brakes or accelerate? Kind of sounds similar to a wheel bearing I had once. Started as a small growl and started to get worse.
