When I put the ac on all the gauges go to zero

So of the many problems with this jeep , the 1 that concerns me right now is when I turn on the ac all the gauges on the dash go to zero and the jeep stays running....if I switch it back to the off position they all come back on beeping like I just started it

    Oh the cruise control and horn on my 2000 jeep grand Cherokee don't work either .... what do I need to do to fix it?
