Should I buy an Atlas premium?

Hi, We are looking to purchase a 2019 atlas premium but are a little concerned as some of the reviews seem quite harsh. We loved to car but we are worried as it seems that all we read are negative reviews. Is there anyone that is very happy with their Atlas? We would love some input and advice. Price for a premium was 51,400....down to 44750. Thank you!!!

Negative reviews DO tend to seem a little louder than good ones. And almost nobody submits a review that says their car is just fine. Did you check out the consumer reviews of the Atlas here on Edmunds? You can check out different aspects of what reviewers are talking about, sort them by most helpful, etc. (Even a negative review can be helpful)

Pretty much every vehicle I've ever owned has had multiple "don't EVER buy this car" reviews that swear the car is a pile of junk, but I've never had any major issues with any car. If I just went by reviews, I'd never buy ANY car. So I always take negative reviews with a grain of salt.

You might look at the reviews with an eye towards looking for something consistently being cited as a problem. But remember that almost all impressions are very subjective. What might be a perfectly comfortable interior to you might seem awful to someone else. If all the reviews are saying the wheel bearings are making noise after 5,000 miles, that's something that might get my attention.
