Freedom panel pin stuck?

Hi All,

I just picked up a 2018 Sahara with a hard top yesterday. I want to get the freedom panels off but the pin in the roll bar of the driver's side seems stuck. I don't want to push too hard and snap it or crack the plastic in the roof.

Anyone here with similar experience and/or advice about that?
