GMC Sierra 2018 5.3 litre drive line issues.

My nieces husband has a 2018 Sierra Evolution with a 5.3 litre motor. There is less than 18k on the truck. He has had a tourque converter replaced in the truck last year. Now it 's making a noise in the drive line. A thumping noise. He is taking to the dealer tomorrow. The truck also seems to hesitate on slight incline on the road. He has had several other issues including a tail gate hinge and back up camera going to black and white to name a few. But any insight on the drive line issues of other owners would be appreciated. Almost feels like a single drive line issue could be causing issues elsewhere along the drive train. Like, did the problem with the torque converter lead to the thumping noise, or was the issue that lead to the thumping issue what caused the issue with the torque converter.
