So I just disconnected my battery to my mustang that just recently bought its not registered so i cant drive it legally in order to register it i have to smog it by any chance did the computer maybe save that information or anything else i can do so i can smog it without driving it illegally thank you.

Unlugging the computer erases continuous codes, pending codes, and resets the monitors. OBDII tests check the monitors to see if the car passed them so it is going to come up not ready for testing. It will have to be either driven or run on a dyno to get the monitors reset.
