2019 Honda Pilot Suddenly Self Breaking Safety Issue
As anyone had an issue with a Honda Pilot suddenly applying the break without pressing the pedal or the vehicle pulling or at times not releasing the calipers when you put in drive. My 2019 Honda Pilot Touring AWD 11K has been applying the break at low speed. The problem started around 4K miles. It makes a grinding noise in the rear rotors. I took it to the dealer and we took it out for a test drive and it started self breaking at a low speed (5-15MPH) it will apply the break and stop itself. Honda claimed it was the Rear Differential Carrier Assembly and the entire rear differential was replaced. I was not happy at all since this is a major job on a new car. The dealer kept the car for a week. Soon as i got my car back the same issue persists. If anyone has been having similar issue please let me know what was the issue and if it was ever resolved.
Also its very similar to the issue honda had in the late models: Ref:
