Insurance Question - Trying to save some money

Hi edmunds community.

I just wanted to ask if its possible to lease a car under my name and address but under my cousins insurance, different address. He has long and good driving history. I'm trying to save some money.

Im 29 and had my license since 20 but don't have a driving history. My Father has car insurance but never put me under and has a bad driving history.

    What if I have him co-sign, can he then put me under his insurance?

    Only if you live at his residence, which you do not.
