The simple solution would be that the combo switch has gone bad. Might also be some kind of relay or controller issue

The dimmer switch is an input to the body computer, the body computer commands the operation of the DIM (dimmer) relay in the underhood fuse block based on that input. Does the "flash to pass" function work ?
