Jetta GLI reliability for used vehicles

Hello,
I am considering a 2014 GLI with 82K miles and is priced at $10,750.
Considering the high mileage, should there be any concern for the reliability of these types of vehicles, say for another 30-40K miles?
The VW maintenance check list prescribes changing out the pads/rotors around 90-100K miles. Are there any other issues I should anticipate? What about the shocks?
