windows problem is a "feature"?
all four windows on my 2019 honda accord sport opened on their own on dec. 4 while the car was parked…this happened at some point after the trunk and some of the doors were opened to deposit items inside (the car never was powered on) and then the car was left unattended for about an hour…upon returning to the car, all four the windows were discovered open (see photo) to virtually the same degree, perhaps two-to-three inches…this is the second time this problem has occurred…the first time was about a week ago when the car was parked, left unattended for at least an hour, then upon returning to the car it was discovered that all four windows were open to virtually the same degree, about five inches…in both instances, the driver noticed nothing amiss until returning to the car later...it's as though a delayed reaction occurred to open the windows...how could this happen? the dealership service dept. where i leased the car said the windows open if you hold the key fob "unlock" button down too long or if it's pressed three times quickly in succession, and that this might apply to the "lock" button, too...furthermore, i was told this oddity is a "feature" of the accord that cannot be disabled...i find the explanation incredible...what do you think?
