hard starting , dying when applying gas, bad smell,
My 97 Nissan quest was bucking and stalling and dying. we changed the connectors on the TPS and that really helped. Its not bucking and jerking now, but after starting , which is kinda hard to do, you have to rev it up and keep gently butterfly the gas pedal till it settles down. then it will run pretty good. no more jerking. I will go into a store or somewhere for 5minutes to hours and it will not run right. It dies when you try to take off, and omits a terrible bad smell like exhaust or something bad. it keeps doing that for about 4-5 tries then it will take off and run fine till its shut off again. an ideas?
