brake light bulb ok, doesn't light up

The idiot light came on in my 2017 Ford Focus hatchback, brake light bulb fault...
I replaced the bulb.. still not working. Just the passenger side. what's next? I have a trip planned for next TUESDAY the 14th!! this is a must do ASAP. thank you for any help.
