Transmission won't do anything

Put a new 4.7 liter in my 2003 dodge Durango and while I had the motor out I changed the filters in the transmission now when I put it in gear it won't do anything doesn't make any noise or nothing I didn't take the torque converter out and it's got plenty of fluid any suggestions before I pull it out
