No power to the heater/ac

Turned on the heater ran a short time kicked off and I mean there is no power to the thing at all shut it off turn it back on and it worked fine for a short time back off with no power to it I even bought a new power head and still have no power to it what is going on with this thing I'm a paraplegic and I really need this wheelchair accessible van to get to my doctors appointments
