I have a 1973 Pontiac Grand Prix, the top lever on the ac, heater control panel will not move past the ac mark.

I’m guessing the blend door is jammed on something under the dash. Try following the cable to see if something is blocking free movement.

Does the top lever use a cable or is it on a switch? I looked under the dash to try to trace if there was a cable could not find anything. I checked under the hood on the passenger side looking for the cable going to the heater box, can't find no cable. Maybe I should pull the ac, heater control panel to see if it would be easier to follow the cable? Should the glove box come out? Thank you
