An idea--Hey, Detroit, are you listening?

Look, I'm not going to ride a bike to the grocery store. But, do I need my great, big, energy-hogging car for a little errand? (It's a Bolt.) Most car trips have only one person--much better to car pool, make it two! Most households have multiple cars, for those not near public transportation--one could be small and thrifty. Hey, Detroit, how about a nice, modern version of the Fiero? Maybe an updated EV-1? A good enviro choice, ever so much better than a two-ton SUV.
Do you remember, Detroit, how your cute, little "commuter" sold like hotcakes? (Both the Fiero and the EV-1.) I guarantee, if you don't make it, Volkswagen will. Let me describe my idea to you--
The car we need:
Two-seater EV, plus room for junk. Weight, M= 2,600 lb empty
Low drag but comfy. Cd = 0.24 or lower. Frontal area: A = 22 sq.ft.
Large diameter, low-friction wheels. Crr = 0.006 or lower
Small lithium battery. E = 15 kWh. Wt. = 200 lb.
Nice regen power system-- P = 115 hp (82 kW shaft)
Range at 65 mph: X = 100 miles. (Need more than that? Take a bus, or train.)
That's the car we need, not too expensive, built to last. How about it, Detroit?
