2006 Malibu LS won’t start after fuel pump replacement

Hello all,

I’ve had my car brought into a mechanic after the fuel pump went on it last week.
At first we thought it might be the fuses, mainly the relay. Even after diagnostics confirmed it was the fuel pump. So after buying a new one and having it put on, my vehicle now won’t start even after charging the battery for half an hour. What could be causing this problem now??? I’m so stressed. Help!

What motor do you have? 2.2/2.4? could be a vacuum leak?
