My Tiptronic no longer works.
A few weeks ago my shift dust cover broke completely out. I just noticed today that my tiptronic feature no longer works. I can toggle minus and plus. I have to hold it into the plus side then it will finally indicate the different gears; but it will not stay in any of them. It jumps right back to drive mode. I don't understand why it isn't working anymore. I don't see any fluids on the driveway to indicate a leak anywhere. So if anyone can answer this please do so?

Sound to me like a minor electrical issue. Most likely the shiftier assembly needs replacement. Your best option would be to have a qualified technician diagnose your problem. A new shifter could be costly so try to look fora good used part with a good warranty policy
