Kona EV Recall
I was JUST about to finalize a lease on a 2020 Kona EV Ultimate and discovered that a few hours earlier Hyundai issued a recall in Europe and Asia and is "in the late stages of finalizing a recall" in the US.
Has anyone heard anything about this? Any idea of how long it would be before the NHTSA would finalize anything?

I am now finalizing a total buyback through a third party, which is working with Hyundai national headquarters.
I had been contacted 2 days ago (7.24.21) by the dealership saying that a replacement battery is available and that I could set up appointment to get it. Instead, I am ending the lease early with the buyback, and will consider another Kona EV during my process.
