Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? CD Stuck in Stereo

I have a 2013 Subaru Impreza hatchback. A few months ago I was listening to a cd when it suddenly stopped and then would not eject. I turned to Youtube in hopes of finding a way to get it out, but no luck. I've also asked 2 mechanics and they said no way would they be able to do it.
I'm hoping one of you will have a brilliant way for me to get this cd out, preferably without damaging it as it is a library CD.

Here's what I've tried:
Disconnected battery for 30+ min
nudged the cd with another cd
used a knife wrapped in tape to try to "grab" it
used a gift card wrapped in tape to try to "grab" it.

Any other ideas?

The best way would be to remove the radio and send it to a repair shop. There they will disassemble the radio to not only remove the CD without doing more damage, they can repair the unit so this doesn't happen again.
