Electrical issue

I just replaced the multifunctional switch. The turn signal was working but in a rapid fashion. The windshield wipers would come on by themselves. I had no issues with the cruise control. The lights bright or dims worked. When I press on the brake I hear a click and the left turn signal light will eliminate (dimly). This was happening before the multifunctional switch and has returned. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!
