2001 Lincoln Town Brake Lights and Turn Signal Lights Are Blowing Fuses

I have a 2001 Lincoln Town Car, Cartier. The brake lights and turn signal lights are blowing fuses and, therefore, are not working. I have replaced the brake light switch, all the brake light bulbs, the turn signal assembly switch, and the lighting control module. The lights are still not working. Have any of you had this experience with a Lincoln Town Car and, if so, how did you fix it?

  • I fixed this problem. After chasing this gremlin with no results, I got wiring harnesses for the tail lights.
The brake lights and turn signal lights are working without blowing fuses.
