nissan sentra transmission

hello i was having trouble with my nissan sentra transmission so i took it out of the car but i cannot figure out what part is wrong and it didn't have a check engine light. what was happening with the car is that when i would start the car it would move but would not accelerate alot and then when i come to a stop the car would not accelerate at all. i looked at the transmission oil and seen some big peices of aluminum in the filter but now that i have the transmission open i don't see any broken parts in the transmission. the car is a 2009 nissan sentra with cvt transmission please help i am trying to get the car running as soon as possible
