Warm weather tranny shift problems

My 06 Dakota has problems shifting when the weather gets warmer. It does fine when it's cold. As soon as it get 60+ the tranny does want to work right. The check engine light comes on and then it feels like it's starting out in 2nd gear from a stop and then it feels like it won't go into 3rd or 4th. It runs like 2700 RPM @ 60 mph. I've had it to the shops but they can't replicate the problem. The solenoid pack has been changed and the fluid/filter also. Is it an electrical problem?
