2010 LaCrosse Holding Low Gear/AC Blows Warm

Hello All,
We've had this Buick for about a year now and every so often it will not shift to a higher gear and will stay in 1 or 2. At the same time this happens if the AC is on it will blow warm, like to compressor is not engaging. Usually pulling over, turning the car off and restarting it again will fix the issue. Has anyone heard of this happening? Any thoughts?
