2008 4WD, 4.2L: A week ago, went to start vehicle. Electrical system entirely dead. I have a small trickle charger, put it on overnight, and the vehicle started normally without any problems. Parked at home a two days ago, went to start last night, electrical system dead again. Put charger on, but still dead. Neighbor brought his truck, applied jumper cables, no joy. He also brought a 100 amp jump starter. We hooked it up, and we got flickering in the cab instruments, but it killed the instruments when I tried to start the engine. I was able to remove the key from the ignition switch that had been stuck there.
My trickle charger and my neighbor's jump starter/charger, with the battery out of the vehicle, showed it fully chafged.

I removed the battery, hooked up a charger to it, and it showedto be fully charged. I put it back in the truck, and it started without issue.

Well, another night, and it started all over again, same problem, system dead. I don't know whether it's a drain or the switch or the battery. I'm just not good at electrical troubleshooting.

Now, can anyone give me a sequential troubleshooting menu?
