General Motors is recalling 1,340,447 vehicles in the U.S., including older versions of the Chevrolet Malibu, because there may be a sudden loss of electric power steering assist that could occur at any time while driving.

    It says all 2004 Malibu Max. Are recalled for power steering so I call the dealer and they said there is no recall based on my vin number I own an 04 Malibu Max. And I'm currently dealing with the power steering going out what do I do
