Tesla has driven global car electrification forward at least 10 years with the Model 3 and Y. The design and pre-order success of CyberTruck has successfully accomplished the same for the light truck market - thank you Ford! Maybe Tesla is going for the strategic climate option by choosing to dedicate battery capacity to disrupting the heavy truck market with the Telsa Semi?

It's all about being able to produce the new 4680 batteries at scale. Now that the Semi is being produced (15 to Pepsi at the end of this month) the availability of those batteries is likely the issue. Both of these vehicles require that new battery.

That is a whole lot of speculation, clearly not enough information to make the claim the author is making. There is actually no information whatsoever indicate that this is delayed "indefinitely". Only did they remove the delivery date from the website wait for all you know could mean they are rolling it out in three months. Doubtful but the point is Clickbait title.
