I am a Tesla Y long range owner and can say that it is a big difference in price for charging at home and on the Tesla superchargers .
For example my home energy cost is about 10 cent during a day and 6 cent at night but if you take a long trip it is almost the same like a regular gasoline. I hade a long trip from Montreal to Florida recently and for 3100 miles spent almost $400 usd on charging stations and spent about 30-40 min for every charge every 150-170 miles drive. I t was interesting experience to check a real range,
it's about 40% less than Tesla declare .
