sputtering problems
Yesterday my 2014 Escalade, 95000 miles, with 1/4 tank full of gas suddenly started sputtering and slowing down in traffic. Luckily it continued to run long enough for me to find a gas station and I filled it with 21 gallons of gas and it has run fine since. The driver information center light never came on and it didn't warn me of low gas in the tank so It believed that I had 1/4 of a tank. Now I don't know whether it has a gas gauge problem, a gas tank sending unit problem or something else. Has anyone else ever had this problem and if so, how did you repair it?
