EV’s are not gonna trend in the US! Never mind the lack of energy to spend the turbines to deliver the demand for such electrical charging. 200 million plus gas cars in the US alone and a electrical grid that’s having a hard time just producing the electrical needs let alone a mass influx of new EV’s. That and a new US President who favors domestic oil production will turns gas prices back to 2019 levels. But let’s focus on the main topic. The Sti has always been the performance flag ship for the Subaru brand. Rally car races and Rally X have been the driving point for this brand and the enthusiast who love its AWD , turbo, rumble exhaust. A EV Sti would be heavy given the battery weight and a heavy sports car really doesn’t perform well in the turns. I guess will have to see what plays out. But for now, hang on to your Sti.
